The City of Toronto’s Toronto Regional Champion Campaign (TRCC) Protégé Program is a mentoring program that teams up 30 young women with the City’s women councillors in order to inspire and familiarize young women with the job of municipal councillor and provide them with hands on experience. Due to resource constraints, the 2013-14 program will run for approximately 6-7 months.

In an effort to increase women’s participation in municipal politics, please forward this information to the appropriate members of your community organization or educational institution who may wish to apply.

Young women from the following groups are strongly encouraged to apply:

‑ People with Disabilities
