City Council will be discussing a recommendation this Tuesday that Astral media’s transit shelters be allowed to have “creative” wrap-around advertising. METRAC has prepared a letter that they are sending to local councilors and has also put together some background information about best practices/safety concerns regarding shelters. METRAC recommends calling/writing to local councilors to alert them to the impact on community safety.
