The Status of Equity in Toronto Today:
Are we being included?
What is the status of Equity in our City of Toronto today?
Is the City of Toronto government (and its various departments) living up to its motto: Diversity is Our Strength?
Many policy and programmatic developments at the City of Toronto in the past many years concern us greatly. We strongly believe that there needs to be bold and effective plan to address social, political and economic inequities in Toronto. There needs to be a commitment to resource that plan and to measure and report its outcomes.
Do you feel the same?
If yes, Alternative Planning Group invites you to attend our brainstorming session to help us develop and communicate our collective vision for the City of Toronto with respect to access, equity and inclusion.
We are not alone. Various equity seeking groups and organizations will join us for this critical conversation about our City of Toronto.
