On June 26th, the Community Development and Recreation Committee will be meeting. Items we’re looking out for include the Recreation Service Plan 2013-2017, The Toronto Youth Equity Framework, Toronto Child Care Funding Model, Welfare of Immigrant Children and Toronto Strong Neighbourhoods Strategy.
Toronto Women’s City Alliance will be deputing on items CD22.1:
Recreation Service Plan 2013-2017 and advocating for free access to community space, permanent staffed youth drop-ins with evening and weekend hours and a full range of culturally sensitive and gender inclusive programming according to community demographics.
