Toronto Women’s City Alliance was pleased to be a national partner in a working group that came together to create a new national guide for advancing equitable municipal policy in Canadian cities.

For the past year, organizations and municipalities from across Canada brought their expertise and experiences together to inform the national guide.  This guide can be applied anywhere in the country and provides a set of tools to help include the voices of previously marginalized groups in the design of municipal policy, particularly women and girls.

In Toronto, TWCA partnered with the City of Toronto and Springtide Resources for a joint release of the guide.  Stay tuned for upcoming events, as we roll out workshops to educate and inform the public about using the guide!
